The Chestico Tea Ladies will host another Downton Abbey Tea at Hillcrest Hall on Sunday, July 5th at 2 pm. Port Hood Newsmakers at the Chestico Museum
During the past year a number of Port Hood people have been newsmakers in the provincial papers, National Geographic magazine and on national television. The Chestico Museum will sponsor a series of Ceilidh evenings in June to hear the behind the scenes story from three of these newsmakers. Book Launch: “Cape Bretoners in the First World War”
On Thursday, August 28, 2014 Ronald Caplan, publisher of Breton Books, will be at the Chestico Museum to launch his latest work Cape Bretoners in the First World War: In Their Own Words.
