Our Newsmaker Series continued Monday June 15 with a very special young man. Ten year old Brandon MacKenzie was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March and has undergone 28 radiation treatments in Halifax. Port Hood Newsmakers at the Chestico Museum
During the past year a number of Port Hood people have been newsmakers in the provincial papers, National Geographic magazine and on national television. The Chestico Museum will sponsor a series of Ceilidh evenings in June to hear the behind the scenes story from three of these newsmakers.
