Flea Market – July 14, 2012

The Chestico Museum will gratefully accept items for their annual summer flea market. It will be held at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre, this weekend in conjunction with the Port Hood Lobster Picnic. Her Wake at the Chestico Museum

The award winning play Her Wake, featuring Cindy O’Neill and Diane Mouland, will be presented at the Chestico Museum on Thursday, July 12th at 7:30 pm. Chestico Museum on TSN!

Port Hood was the place to be on Sunday, August 28, 2011 as we hosted a live broadcast of TSN‘s SportsCentre! TSN came to town as part of the 2011 Kraft Celebration Tour. Next Event: Port Hood in the 1950’s Slideshow

As part of Chestico Days, the Chestico Museum will present a slideshow that will look back at Port Hood in the 1950’s. The people, places and events of this time period will be featured. Miners Memorial Weekend Recap

The Miners Memorial weekend that was held in Port Hood from July 21 to July 24, 2011 was a great success! The weekend kicked off on Thursday evening with a slideshow and ceilidh at the museum.
