Eigg Homecoming

2009 Chestico Couple

This year, the Chestico Museum & Historical Society was pleased to honour Anne and Jackie MacDonald as our Chestico Couple. Anne grew up in Harbourview. She was the third of ten children born to Sadie (MacIsaac) and Hughie MacInnis. Next Event – Slideshow Presentation

On Thursday, July 30 at 7:30 PM, the Chestico Museum will present a narrated slideshow entitled,  Port Hood: A Journey Back. The slideshow will feature commentary and photographs relating to Port Hood’s rich history. July 23rd Ceilidh

The fourth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s summer ceilidh series was held at the museum on July 23rd.  This week we featured a night of singing.  On guitar and vocals were Edgar Cormier & Sandy Gillis and also on guitar and vocals were Andrea Currie & Rick Minnikin.
