The fifth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s summer ceilidh series was held at the museum on August 6th. Our entertainment for the evening was Shelley Campbell on fiddle accompanied by Sandy MacDonald on guitar, Ryan MacNeil on the pipes and tin whistle, Marissa MacNeil on guitar and vocals, KC Beaton with folk vocals and KC’s daughter Siobhan treated us to some step dancing.
As well, we had a special treat in the form of Pat Quinn from Northern Ireland. Pat has been coming to our area for twenty three years. He saw the cars at the museum on Thursday evening and decided to stop in and see what was going on! Pat graciously sang two Irish songs for us.
