The 7th ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2014 summer ceilidh series was held on August 21st. The evening was dedicated to the memory of renowned Cape Breton fiddler Buddy MacMaster who passed away on August 20th. Dara (Smith) MacDonald was our fiddler. Book Launch: “Cape Bretoners in the First World War”
On Thursday, August 28, 2014 Ronald Caplan, publisher of Breton Books, will be at the Chestico Museum to launch his latest work Cape Bretoners in the First World War: In Their Own Words. The sixth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2014 summer ceilidh series was held on August 14th and we had a really good crowd in attendance!
