July 2, 2015 Ceilidh
The Chestico Museum’s 2015 summer ceilidh series kicked off on July 2nd. This is our 9th year of Thursday evening ceilidhs! The talented Stuart Cameron was our fiddler and he treated us to a selection of tunes. Stuart was accompanied by Kevin Levesconte, a tremendous piano player. June 25th Newsmaker Dennis Cameron
Our Newsmakers Series concluded on June 25th with Dennis Cameron as our guest. It was a wonderfully informative evening. Last Fall Dennis landed a tuna at Murphy’s Pond. He then traveled to Japan and followed the sale of that tuna at the main fish market in Tokyo. Dennis vividly described what goes on at a Japanese fish market. He was particularly impressed… (more…)
