August 16, 2012 Ceilidh

The fifth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2012 summer ceilidh series was held on August 16th. Our fiddler was Kenneth Mackenzie from Mabou and he was accompanied by Tyson Chen, also from Mabou. 2012 Chestico Couple

The Chestico Museum and Historical Society is pleased to honour Maude and Omer Campbell as this year’s Chestico Couple. Maude grew up in Rankinville. She was the youngest of ten children born to Jessie Agnes (Cameron) and Danny Sandy MacNeil. Maude received her education at St. Joseph’s Convent School in Mabou.
