2012 Chestico Couple

The Chestico Museum and Historical Society is pleased to honour Maude and Omer Campbell as this year’s Chestico Couple. Maude grew up in Rankinville. She was the youngest of ten children born to Jessie Agnes (Cameron) and Danny Sandy MacNeil. Maude received her education at St. Joseph’s Convent School in Mabou. Next Event: Port Hood in the 1940’s Slideshow

As part of Chestico Days, the Chestico Museum will present a slideshow that will look back at Port Hood in the 1940’s. The people, places and events of this time period will be featured. July 26, 2012 Ceilidh

The third ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2012 summer ceilidh series was held on July 26th and we had a big crowd in attendance! We had two fiddlers for the night. July 19, 2012 Ceilidh

The second ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2012 summer ceilidh series was held on July 19th and it was a real treat! Shelly Campbell was our fiddler and gave us a number of tunes.
