The fourth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s summer ceilidh series was held at the museum on July 23rd. This week we featured a night of singing. On guitar and vocals were Edgar Cormier & Sandy Gillis and also on guitar and vocals were Andrea Currie & Rick Minnikin.
As well, we had a special treat in the form of Frances MacEachen. She was in the audience and graciously agreed to perform a Gaelic song for us.

Admission is $5 and tea and light refreshments will be served following the show.

Entertaining were Maggie Beaton on fiddle, Kelly MacDonald on guitar and vocals and Pius MacIsaac, also on guitar and vocals. A very large crowd was in attendance and were treated to an excellent evening of entertainment.

The Chestico Museum 2010 calendars are now available at the museum. This year, our calendar honours the lives of the more than one hundred men and women from the Chestico area who joined religious congregations, United Church ministry, Roman Catholic priesthood or various lay Christian organizations.
The calendars cost $12 each and can be purchased at the museum.
