The Chestico Museum’s 2011 summer ceilidh series kicked off on July 7th! We had a great line up of talent with Wendy MacIsaac on fiddle, accompanied by Cathy Hawley on piano, Hughie John Beaton on guitar and vocals and KC Beaton performed some Gaelic songs while her daughter Siobhan step danced to some of Wendy’s tunes. First Ceilidh of 2011!
The first ceilidh of our 2011 summer ceilidh series will be Thursday, July 7th at 7 PM at the museum. The seventh and final ceilidh of the our 2010 summer ceilidh series took place at the museum on August 26th. This special two hour ceilidh certainly was a night to remember! The sixth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s summer ceilidh series took place at the museum on August 19th! We had a fine fiddler in Shelly Campbell and she brought along Allan Dewar to accompany her on the piano.
