The next ceilidh in our 2014 summer ceilidh series will be Thursday, August 7th at 7 PM at the museum. Next Event: Slideshow on Father Donald MacPherson

As part of Chestico Days, the Chestico Museum will present a narrated slideshow that will examine the life and times of Father Donald MacPherson. Father MacPherson was a Chaplain with the Canadian Army during World War I and later served as parish priest in Port Hood for just over 37 years. July 24, 2014 Ceilidh

The fourth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2014 summer ceilidh series was held on July 24th and we had a great crowd in attendance. Our fiddler for the evening was Stephanie MacDonald and she was accompanied by Cathy Hawley. They certainly had everyone tapping their toes with a great selection of tunes! July 17, 2014 Ceilidh

The third ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2014 summer ceilidh series was held on July 17th. Melanie Holder was our fiddler for the evening and she brought along her husband Donald who treated us to some fine step dancing.
