2013 Call to the Dance!

Since August 4, 1984, hundreds of dancers and young fiddlers have participated in the Chestico Days Step Dancing Festival and many of these continue to entertain audiences throughout the world. The Chestico Museum and Historical Society is pleased to honour Maude and Omer Campbell as this year’s Chestico Couple. Maude grew up in Rankinville. She was the youngest of ten children born to Jessie Agnes (Cameron) and Danny Sandy MacNeil. Maude received her education at St. Joseph’s Convent School in Mabou.
