The third ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s 2014 summer ceilidh series was held on July 17th.
Melanie Holder was our fiddler for the evening and she brought along her husband Donald who treated us to some fine step dancing.
Melanie was accompanied on piano by the talented Cullen MacInnis from Mabou who also played a lovely piano solo selection.
Michelle Greenwell of Dance Debut was also on hand for some step dancing. She even offered instruction to the crowd so that they would be ready for the dance in Glencoe Mills later on in the evening!
And of course we had the lovely Lynn Chisholm who performed a number of songs. Everyone was singing along with her version of “Mansion on the Hill.”
As always, tea was served after the show and people had a chance to visit with new and old friends. It was a most enjoyable evening all around.
