The fifth ceilidh of the Chestico Museum’s summer ceilidh series took place at the museum on August 12th and it was our biggest ceilidh yet!
We had a very large crowd in attendance and they were well pleased with the evening’s entertainment! Our fiddler was Andrea Beaton who brought along her parents, Kinnon and Betty. We were thrilled to have them perform as well.
KC Beaton beautifully performed Gaelic songs and her daughter, Siobhan showcased her stepdancing ability. KC and Gerard Walker also joined her for a few steps.
Gerard was singing with Sandy Gillis and Edgar Cormier and their songs had everyone singing along – especially on “Working Man”!
And last, but not least, we had Pat Quinn from Northern Ireland. Pat was at three of our ceilidhs last year and we are happy to welcome him back once again. He treated us to a story and accompanied Andrea, Kinnon and Betty on the Bohran Drum.
It certainly was an evening to remember! Enjoy the photos below!
